UK beauty blogger Sophie Hannah Richardson has Started tutorial Clip showing how to get glitter armpits 

Glitter boobs was the biggest trend at Glastonbury this summer with brave revellers casting aside their tops and bras in favour of sparkly paint and nipple tassels.

Now the latest body part to get the glitzy treatment is the armpits, with UK beauty blogger Sophie Hannah Richardson leading the way it a tutorial on how to achieve the look racking up more than a million views on Instagram.

The popular UK beauty blogger recommended the technique for days when you can't be bothered to pick up a razor as it's ideal for covering up stubble.

Sophie showed how easy the process is, applying glitter glue to her armpits and dotting on sparkles with a make-up brush.

She's by no means the only one rocking the trend with hundreds of other posts on Instagram showing women decorating their armpits - both smooth and unshaven - with glitter.

Glitter armpits are just the latest in a long line of trends that see beauty addicts applying sparkles to various body parts, including the derriere.

Earlier this year, a glitter tongues swept Instagram, but a doctor warned the craze could cause gastrointestinal illnesses including stomach ache and constipation.

Then a mother-of-three created controversial 'passion activated capsules' designed to be inserted into a woman's vagina prior to intercourse to create a candy-scented sparkle afterwards.

Even men have been getting in on the act by jazzing up their beards with a touch of sparkle.
