Hiroto Kiritani - Coupon Man Surviving For 36 Years on Coupons

Hiroto Kiritani - Coupon Man Surviving For 36 Years on Coupons | Japan’s “Coupon Man” Has Been Living Almost Exclusively on Coupons for 36 Years | JAPANESE SHOGI PLAYER AND INVESTOR

We all love coupons and vouchers, but can you imagine living on them almost exclusively for almost four decades? A Japanese man claims to have been doing it for the last 36 years, adding that he hasn’t spent a yen of his own money during that time.

71-year-old Hiroto Kiritani is a minor celebrity in his home country of Japan. His ability to live comfortably on coupons without spending any money unless he really has to is legendary, and he has been invited on numerous television shows and events over the years. Kiritani says that he gets by without spending real money except for utilities and rent. But he’s not as frugal as you might think. He just manages to live comfortably on the coupons he receives from companies he invested in over the years.

Kiritani, who used to be a professional shogi (Japanese Chess), got into stock investment when he was 35. He was invited to teach the staff of an investment company called Tokyo Securities Kyowakai about shogi, and was fascinated by the idea of owning parts of various companies. He bought his first stock in 1984 and quickly developed a taste for it, encouraged by the stock bubble of the 1980s.

Mila Povoroznyuk - Young Girl Daily Dresses Like 19th Century

Mila Povoroznyuk - Young Girl Daily Dresses Like 19th Century | woman Dressed Like 19th Century | Living a 19th Century Lifestyle | Daily Life in the 19th century | Victorian fashion 19th-Century Fashion Style

Mila Povoroznyuk, a young girl from the Ukrainian city of Vinnitsa, has shunned jeans, and all other modern clothing for the long dresses and intricate ensembles of The 19th (nineteenth) century began on January 1, 1801, and ended on December 31, 1900. It was the ninth century of the 2nd millennium.

Nowadays, fashion trends change faster than ever before, but instead of trying to keep up, Mila Povoroznyuk decided to go back to a time that will never go out of fashion – the style of the late 19th century. For the past few years, she has replaced her fairly mundane wardrobe with vintage attires, including long dresses, corsets, all sorts of elegant hats and footwear from the late Victorian Era. Even though getting dressed every morning is much more of a hassle than it used to be, Mila says it’s worth it, as the vintage style makes her feel much more comfortable.

“First I started wearing a vintage blouse, then a skirt, and somehow such vintage clothing items gradually started filling up my closet,” Mila Povoroznyuk told Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda. “And I noticed that I increasingly chose them in everyday life, over my regular wardrobe. I felt more comfortable, more confident in such clothes, and now I practically dress like this every day.”

Birth Photos - Woman Giving Birth to New Born Baby That Capture Pure Love

Birth Photos - Woman Giving Birth to New Born Baby That Capture Pure Love | Birth Photos Capture The Raw And Powerful Mother Side Of It | The Magic of Birth Photography | Pregnant & Delivery Photo Inspiration ideas | Woman Giving birth at home

New Born Baby Or Childbirth, also known as labour and delivery, is the ending of pregnancy where one or more babies leaves the uterus by passing through the vagina or by Caesarean section. In 2015, there were about 135 million births globally. About 15 million were born before 37 weeks of gestation, while between 3 and 12 percent were born after 42 weeks. In the developed world most deliveries occur in hospitals, while in the developing world most births take place at home with the support of a traditional birth attendant

The most common way of childbirth is a vaginal delivery. It involves three stages of labour: the shortening and opening of the cervix during the first stage, descent and birth of the baby during the second stage, and the delivery of the placenta during the third stage. The first stage begins with crampy abdominal or back pain that lasts around half a minute and occurs every 10 to 30 minutes. The pain becomes stronger and closer together over time. The second stage ends when the infant is fully expelled. In the third stage, the delivery of the placenta, delayed clamping of the umbilical cord is generally recommended.[ As of 2014, all major health organizations advise that immediately following vaginal birth, or as soon as the mother is alert and responsive after a Caesarean section, that the infant be placed on the mother's chest, termed skin-to-skin contact, delaying routine procedures for at least one to two hours or until the baby has had its first breastfeeding.

A bride Or Dulhan is a woman who is about to be married or who is newlywed. When marrying, the bride's future spouse, (if male) is usually referred to as the bridegroom or groom. In Western culture, a bride may be attended by a maid of honor, bridesman and one or more bridesmaids.

Some brides (and an increasing number of grooms) opt for makeup looks ranging from natural to full-on glamour on their wedding day. Some brides choose not to wear makeup at all. For brides who want a dramatic, luminous style that looks like it's straight out of the movies, makeup artist Arber Bytyqi has them covered.

He recommends that brides bring photos of makeup looks that they like and show them to whoever is doing their makeup. "Make sure to have a bridal trial before the wedding, style your hair and wear your jewelry so you can see how the total look will come together on the day," he said.

A handbag, commonly known as a Purses & Clutches in North American English, is a handled medium-to-large bags used to carry personal items. The term "purse" originally referred to a small bag for holding coins. In many English-speaking countries it is still used to refer to a small money bag. A "handbag" is a larger accessory that holds objects beyond currency, such as personal items.

American English typically uses the terms purse and handbag interchangeably. The term handbag began appearing in the early 1900s. Initially, it was most often used to refer to men's hand-luggage. Women's bags grew larger and more complex during this period, and the term was attached to the accessory. "Pocketbook" is another term for a woman's hand bag that was most commonly used on the East Coast of the United States in the mid-twentieth century.

Early modern Europeans wore purses for one sole purpose: to carry coins. Purses were made of soft fabric or leather and were worn by men as often as ladies; the Scottish sporran is a survival of this custom. In the 17th century, young girls were taught embroidery as a necessary skill for marriage; this also helped them make very beautiful handbags

Shipping Container House - Incredible Container Homes Designs

Shipping Container House - Amazing Container Homes Designs | Incredible Shipping Container Houses Around the World | Builds Low-Cost Sustainable Home | Building a Shipping Container Home | Shipping Container Homes You Must See

Containers are in many ways an ideal building material because they are strong, durable, stackable, cuttable, movable, modular, plentiful and relatively cheap. Architects as well as laypeople have used them to build many types of buildings such as homes, offices, apartments, schools, dormitories, artists' studios and emergency shelters; they have also been used as swimming pools. They are also used to provide temporary secure spaces on construction sites and other venues on an "as is" basis instead of building shelters.

The abundance and relative cheapness of these containers during the last decade comes from the deficit in manufactured goods coming from North America in the last two decades. These manufactured goods come to North America from Asia and, to a lesser extent, Europe, in containers that often have to be shipped back empty, or "deadhead", at considerable expense. It is often cheaper to buy new containers in Asia than to ship old ones back. Therefore, new applications are sought for the used containers that have reached their North American destination.

For each person, the definition of a dream house is different. While some are more fond of traditional dwellings, others are looking for new and innovative ways to build their perfect home. While building a house out of shipping containers is not exactly new, some people still manage to surprise us with their skills and ability to transform ugly metal boxes into cozy homes.

Most Creative Pie Crust Designs - Decorative Pie Baked Dish

Most Creative Pie Crust Designs - Decorative Pie Baked Dish

A pie is a baked dish which is usually made of a pastry dough casing that contains a filling of various sweet or savoury ingredients. Sweet pies may be filled with fruit (as in an apple pie), nuts (pecan pie), brown sugar (sugar pie) or sweetened vegetables (rhubarb pie). Savoury pies may be filled with meat (as in a steak pie or a Jamaican patty), eggs and cheese (quiche) or a mixture of meat and vegetables (pot pie).

Pies are defined by their crusts. A filled pie (also single-crust or bottom-crust), has pastry lining the baking dish, and the filling is placed on top of the pastry but left open. A top-crust pie has the filling in the bottom of the dish and is covered with a pastry or other covering before baking. A two-crust pie has the filling completely enclosed in the pastry shell. Shortcrust pastry is a typical kind of pastry used for pie crusts, but many things can be used, including baking powder biscuits, mashed potatoes, and crumbs.

Pies can be a variety of sizes, ranging from bite-size to ones designed for multiple servings.

Yellow Albino Turtle - Rare Turtle - Most Unique Animals Color | Yellow Albino Turtle - Rare Animals In The World

A bizarre turtle that is bright yellow has been spotted in a village pond in West Bengal, India. The rare animal is afflicted with a form of albinism which affects its colouration and has been compared online to melted cheese on a burger. It belongs to a rare species called the Indian flap shell turtle.

Sneha Dharwadka posted images of the turtle on Twitter and suggested two potential explanations for its bizarre colouration. It's an albino kind whose peculiar yellow colour is may be bcoz of either some genetic mutation or congenital disorder due to absence of tyrosine pigment,' he says. The Indian flap shell turtle, which is normally green, is typically found in South Asia and is between 9 to 14 inches long.

In August, a similar animal of the same species was discovered in Nepal. At the time it was compared to a mythological incarnation of the Hindu deity Vishnu. These two events make up just the fifth and sixth sightings of albinism in this species. Vietnam War - Second Indochina War Photos | History of Vietnam

Vietnam War - Second Indochina War Photos | History of Vietnam | Between 1960-1975

The Vietnam War (Vietnamese: Chiến tranh Việt Nam), also known as the Second Indochina War, and in Vietnam as the Resistance War Against America (Vietnamese: Kháng chiến chống Mỹ) or simply the American War, was a conflict in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from 1 November 1955 to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975. It was the second of the Indochina Wars and was officially fought between North Vietnam and South Vietnam.

North Vietnam was supported by the Soviet Union, China, and other communist allies; South Vietnam was supported by the United States, South Korea, the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, and other anti-communist allies. The war, considered a Cold War-era proxy war by some, lasted 19 years, with direct U.S. involvement ending in 1973, and included the Laotian Civil War and the Cambodian Civil War, which ended with all three countries becoming communist in 1975.

The conflict emerged from the First Indochina War against the communist-led Viet Minh. Most of the funding for the French war effort was provided by the U.S. After the French quit Indochina in 1954, the US assumed financial and military support for the South Vietnamese state. The Việt Cộng, also known as Front national de libération du Sud-Viêt Nam or NLF (the National Liberation Front), a South Vietnamese common front under the direction of North Vietnam, initiated a guerrilla war in the south.

Rebecca Giddins - Eating Only Chicken Nuggets And Chips For 15 Yrs

Rebecca Giddins - Eating Only Chicken Nuggets And Chips For Everyday | Teenager Who Only Ate Chicken Nuggets And Chips For 15 Years | She has now Tried Eating Fruit and Veg, Sausage and even Cheese for First Time

A teenager who has survived on a diet of just chicken nuggets and chips for the last 15 years has finally expanded her palate after seeing a hypnotist. Rebecca Giddins, who has only just started using a knife and fork at the age of 19, has lived off the meal since she was four years old. But she prefers Birds Eye nuggets and, in 15 years, has scoffed more than 87,000 of them.

Rebecca said: 'For as long as I can remember, I have gagged at the sight of other food - I couldn't even pick it up or pass it to people.' When Rebecca, of Kettering, Northants., was a toddler she lived off Milky Ways, yoghurt and cake before she became hooked on chicken bites. Her parents did not take her to see a doctor, as they believed her extremely picky eating was something she would grow out of, but as she got older they realised they needed to try something different.

The gymnastic coach has now eaten fruit and veg, sausage and even cheese, for the first time - after seeing a hypnotist. She added: 'I was sceptical about hypnosis but so far, it seems to have helped. Since going to my first session last Monday, I have been able to try at least two new foods every day and my goal is to be able to eat a roast dinner. 'The gagging has totally stopped since going which was one of the main reasons I was unable to eat food in the first place.

Nathan Hrushkin - Boy Finds 69 Million Year Old Dinosaur Fossil

Nathan Hrushkin - Boy Finds 69 Million Year Old Dinosaur Fossil | Boy, 12, Discovers Rare Dinosaur Skeleton

A 12-year-old boy made the discovery of his lifetime when he found a dinosaur skeleton dating back 69 million years. The amateur palaeontologist was out hiking with his father in a fossil-rich part of Alberta, Canada this July, when he saw bones protruding from a rock. On Thursday, the skeleton's excavation was completed.

The boy, Nathan Hrushkin, says when he first laid eyes on the bones, he was "literally speechless". "I wasn't even excited, even though I know I should have [been]," he tells the BBC. "I was in so much shock that I had actually found a dinosaur discovery." Nathan, who has been interested in dinosaurs since he was six, often goes hiking in the Nature Conservancy of Canada's protected site in the Albertan Badlands with his father.

"I've always just been so fascinated with how their bones go from bones like ours, to solid rock." A year ago, they had found small fragments of fossils, and his father guessed that they were falling down from the rock above. So this summer Nathan decided to inspect. The fossilised bones were poking out of the side of a hill. "Dad, you got to get up here!" he called to his father.

His father knew Nathan had found something by the tone of his voice. They looked like bones made of stone - you could not mistake them for anything else," his father, Dion Hrushkin, said. "It looked like the end of a femur - it had that classic bone look to it - sticking straight out of the ground."

Paper Cutouts - Creative Paper Cutting Turn into Arts Designs

Paper Cutouts - Creative Paper Cutting Turn into Arts Designs | Artist Creates Intricate Cut-Outs From Single Sheet of Paper | Simple Paper Cutting Art And Craft Ideas For Kids | 3D Paper Art, Paper Cut Illustrators

Papercutting or paper cutting is the art of paper designs. The art has evolved uniquely all over the world to adapt to different cultural styles. One traditional distinction most styles share in common is that the designs are cut from a single sheet of paper as opposed to multiple adjoining sheets as in collage.

Paper cut art appeared during the Han dynasty in 4th century AD after the Chinese official, Cai Lun invented paper in 105 AD. The oldest surviving paper cut out is a symmetrical circle from the 6th century Six Dynasties period found in Xinjiang China. Papercutting continued to be practiced during the Song and Tang Dynasties as a popular form of decorative art.

By the eighth or ninth century papercutting appeared in West Asia and in Turkey in the 16th century. The knowledge of Paper making did not reach Europe until the 13th century so papercutting could only have arrived after that. In Switzerland and Germany for example it was not until the 16th century that papercut art or scherenschnitte was established (see also silhouette).

Most Unique And Creative Coffee Mugs Designs - Cups And Mugs | Cool And Unique Coffee Mugs You Can Buy Right Now | Stylish Coffee & Tea Mugs

A mug is a type of cup typically used for drinking hot drinks, such as coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. Mugs usually have handles and hold a larger amount of fluid than other types of cup. Typically, a mug holds approximately 8–12 US fluid ounces (240–350 ml) of liquid. A mug is a less formal style of drink container and is not usually used in formal place settings, where a teacup or coffee cup is preferred. Shaving mugs are used to assist in wet shaving.

Ancient mugs were usually carved in wood or bone, ceramic or shaped of clay, while most modern ones are made of ceramic materials such as bone china, earthenware, porcelain, or stoneware. Some are made from strengthened glass, such as Pyrex. Other materials, including enameled metal, plastic, or steel are preferred, when reduced weight or resistance to breakage is at a premium, such as for camping. A travel mug is insulated and has a cover with a small sipping opening to prevent spills. Techniques such as silk screen printing or decals are used to apply decorations such as logos or images and fan art, which are fired onto the mug to ensure permanence.

Marcos Beccari Artist Drawing - Watercolor Artworks Paintings

Marcos Beccari Artist Drawing - Watercolor Artworks Paintings | Watercolor Techniques & Painting Tutorials

Watercolor or watercolour, also aquarelle, is a painting method in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-based solution. Watercolor refers to both the medium and the resulting artwork

Marcos Beccari doesn't shy away from a challenge. Instead, he runs toward it. And that's why the Brazilian artist has gotten so good. Currently, Beccari works as an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Paraná, giving lectures on design and graphic design. In his spare time, he also does watercolor paintings.

If you were to scroll through his portfolio, you'd see that Beccari focuses a lot on water. So much so, that in some of his works, it becomes the central subject, pushing people into the background. That is because the artist thought portraying water was his weakness and wanted to eradicate it. I think we can safely say that he succeeded and now it has become his strength.

Man Eating Animal Food - James May Cooked And Ate Cat Foods

Man Eating Animal Foods - James May Cooked And Ate Cat Food

It's a question many of us have asked ourselves but for which few have dared to find the answer: what does cat food taste like? Well, after asking their readers whether it would be a good idea or not, the good folks over at FoodTribe got the former Top Gear presenter James May to find out.

And while most of us would, fairly understandably, never wish to eat pet food of any description, May faced the challenge head on. In the video posted to YouTube, the 57-year-old says: "Cat food is perfectly edible, it is suitable for human consumption, and, in fact, it has to be, because the tragedy is that some people, when they get really hard-up, eat it.

"It was recognised back in the 1970s, I think, that this was happening, so it became the law, as I understand it, that all pet food had to be fit for human consumption." The petrol head then set about turning two brands of cat food - a sachet of beef and poultry from home and a tin of chicken and cheese belonging to someone called Tom - into delicious pies, complete with Smash - powdered mash potato - and chillies to help mask the flavour.

Faig Ahmed Carpet - Melting Carpets & Rugs Designs for Home

Faig Ahmed Carpet - Melting Carpets & Rugs Designs for Home | Traditional Designer carpets and rugs | Most Unique Melting Carpets for Home & Office

Faig Ahmed born 1982 in Sumqayit, Azerbaijan is an Azerbaijani contemporary visual artist who is best known for his surrealist weavings which integrate visual distortions into traditional oriental rugs.

Ahmed graduated from the sculpture program at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts in Baku in 2004. In 2007, Ahmed's work was included in the Azerbaijan's first pavilion in the Venice Biennalle.

While Ahmed has created artworks in multiple media, including sculpture, video, and installation, he is best known for his surrealist sculptural textiles, which apply optical illusions in the form of often psychedelic visual manipulations (including warping, glitching, melting, pixelating, and unraveling) to traditional Islamic rugs. The textiles are manufactured by a group of skilled weavers who follow Ahmed's designs paying strict attention to traditional Azerbaijani weaving techniques.

Ahmed's rug sculptures are held in notable public collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Seattle Art Museum, and RISD Museum.

Weird Food Presentation - Bizarre Food Restaurants Presentations

Weird Food Presentation - Bizarre Food Restaurants Presentations | Times When Food Restaurants Went A Little Too Far Over The Top | Crazy Food Presentations That Will Blow Your Mind

Presentation goes a long way when it comes to impressing the discerning diner, but sometimes creative flair can get out of hand. The efforts of restaurants to present their offerings in ever more unusual ways has been documented by the Twitter account WeWantPlates, and recently someone used Imgur to compile a selection of the most bizarre and hilarious examples.

One cook decided it would be a good idea to serve up baked beans in a Croc sandal, with the pulses peeking tantalisingly out of the holes. Others have served up meals in everything from a shovel to a wheelbarrow in an effort to impress. From a tiramisu in a flowerpot to a Lego bread basket and a dish served up in a mould of a jaw - complete with a gold tooth - these restaurateurs certainly get top marks for creativity, and will no doubt disappointed to learn their customers would prefer their dinner served on a humble plate.
