Mammoth Teeth Using to Creates Knives by Russian Craftsman

Mammoth Teeth Using to Creates Knives by Russian Craftsman

Alexander Vasiliev, a master from Moscow, together with his team from the Vasverblades workshop, creates stunning knives using unique materials. Stabilized spruce cones, mammoth teeth, buckwheat, unique wood species are just a small list of what they use in their work.

Knife blades are also made from a wide variety of steel. For example, the collection includes a tanto made of Damascus steel.

A team of craftsmen sends their works all over the world, their knives are ordered in the USA, Britain, Nigeria, the UAE, etc. As the Russian master points out, “There is no country on the map where I would not send a knife.”

According to Alexander, what the team likes most in their work is an innovative approach – to create something that has not yet been created from materials that no one has used before.

Sunburn People | Worst Beach Sunburn Ever - Tan Body Skin Problem

Sunburn People Any time your skin is not protected by sunscreen or clothes and gets too much sun, it can burn or tan.

sun is extremely dangerous, and prolonged exposure may lead to permanent skin damage and even skin cancer. Don’t forget to always use sunscreen, and seek medical attention immediately in case you get a severe sunburn.

Making Art with Recycled Plastic Waste to Bring Awareness

Here are some Making artworks created purely from our plastic waste to raise awareness for single-use plastic pollution.

Most conventional plastic crap is made from non-biodegradable petrochemicals—instead of decomposing over time, it simply breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces (micro-plastics).

Since the 1950’s, plastic has become a popular material in the world: used in endless ways, found in countless items, and often made to be discarded and disregarded in mere minutes.

Since the majority of plastic is non-biodegradable, plastic waste has only accumulated over time, affecting our physical health and environment. In an effort to bring awareness to this issue and to keep some plastic from going into landfills or the ocean, I make art from plastic waste. What can we do to make a change?

Spread awareness, be mindful of plastic consumption, demand more plastic be made biodegradable—buying only plastic items that are. Be creative about making a change!

Smile Mask - Staff Wears Smiling Face Masks in Japanese Takeya Shop Launches ‘Smile Masks’ To Make Customers Think That The Staff Is More Friendly

One unintended side effect of wearing masks all the time in public is that it's harder to politely greet people because a full half of your face is covered! You often can't tell if someone is smiling or grimacing behind that piece of cloth.

One store in Japan has come up with a way to make sure everyone knows their employees are always cheery. They call them "smile masks," and, well, that's exactly what they are. The employees of Takeya have been wearing masks that display a picture of a smile — a male smile for male employees and a female smile for the women who work there.

And you can't deny that it totally works! If I walked into a store after seeing only masked people all day and I saw that cheery man smiling back at me, my mood would instantly be lifted!

Old RV Van Vehicles Transform Into Tiny Homes on Wheels House

Janeway Bought An Old RV And Transformed It Into A Beautiful modern Home For Me And Two Kittens That I Recently Adopted. After trading some emails with a salesman and putting down a $1000 non-refundable deposit

It must have been love at first sight. I’d like to describe it that way, but the reality is I hadn’t seen her yet. Not really. I’d only found a listing at the bottom of a list of used RVs at a dealership 200 miles away, close to the Texas border. A 1995 Chevy Seven Seas Cobra, 36,000ish miles. I’d been looking for months, and something in my heart told me this was the one. This was my transformation project.

Layers of dust coated the carpet. There were spots with water damage and mold. Thankfully, the appliances worked, and though I was later to find out the A/C in the cab was out, the housing unit A/C was fine and the engine ran well.

Paper Cutouts in Perspective | Rich McCor Artist Turn Famous Landmarks Into Art

Londoner Rich 'Paperboyo' McCor (previously here and here) has already transformed Paris's Arc de Triomphe into a LEGO man and turned London's 02/Millennium Dome into a delicious-looking cake. Luckily for us, McCor is still on the go and he isn't running out of ideas - the photographer is back with more famous landmarks interacting with his whimsical paper cutouts!

An imaginative Instagram user’s unique way of capturing the world’s most famous landmarks for posterity involves a scissors, paper and a camera.

Positioning the various paper cut-outs takes much precision and no doubt McCor attracts a certain amount of attention during the process. No doubt there’s a certain degree of trail-and-error as well: what works well in one’s imagination doesn’t always pan out in reality. When everything goes right, well, that’s just the cherry on the sundae!

Uncomfortable Household Objects Designs by Katerina Kamprani

The Uncomfortable is a collection of deliberately inconvenient everyday Household objects, designed by Athens based architect Katerina Kamprani

ALL THE OBJECTS YOU WILL SEE IN THIS WEBSITE ARE DELIBERATELY DESIGNED TO ANNOY YOU.

This project started after I failed to finish my studies in industrial design around 2011 and it has continued to grow ever since. My goal is to deconstruct the invisible design language of simple everyday objects and tweak their fundamental properties in order to surprise you and make you laugh.

But also to help you appreciate the complexity and depth of interactions with the simplest of objects around us. As a poor designer I have started the project by making conceptual 3d visualisations, but recently I have decided to spend all my savings to produce prototypes, because what would the world be if there were no Uncomfortable objects out there.

Kids Breakup Letters To Make You Smile | Children's Breakup

Getting rejected by your crush is rough, but we've all been there before. These kids learned the hard way that nothing lasts forever. Hopefully these notes don't bring back traumatizing memories of your first heartbreak.

Getting dumped is pretty brutal, however old you are. There's never a good age to be told by your SO that they no longer wish to be with you. At least when you're an adult you can (hopefully) use some tact when you're breaking up with someone and spare some of their dignity. But when it comes to kids, they have no filter and are brutally honest with the reasons for their breakups. Here are some breakup letters written by kids and they sting just to read them!

Public Restrooms | Transparent Public Toilets in Tokyo, Japan

Surprisingly Unique Public Restrooms | Transparent Public Toilets in Tokyo, Japan

Public toilets around the globe have a reputation for being dark, dirty and dangerous. Tokyo recently unveiled new restrooms in two public parks that aim to address those concerns. For one thing, they are brightly lit and colorful. For another, they are transparent. This way, the logic goes, those who need to use them can check out the cleanliness and safety of the stalls without having to walk inside or touch a thing.

Japan has long experimented with toilets, resulting in lids that open and close automatically and seats that warm up. But the new stalls — designed by Shigeru Ban, the Pritzker Prize-winning architect — are made out of an opacity-changing “smart glass” that is already used in offices and other buildings to provide privacy when needed.

The toilets were installed in Japan’s capital this month, coinciding with a nationwide campaign to phase out the city’s old-fashioned public toilets ahead of the now-delayed Summer Olympics. Set up in front of a cluster of trees in the Shibuya district, the stalls stand out like a Mondrian painting, bearing tinted walls with colors like mango, watermelon, lime, violet and teal.
