A bumper sticker is an adhesive label or sticker with a message, intended to be attached to the bumper of an Cars and to be read by the occupants of other vehicles.

The first bumper stickers were mainly designed to attract tourists. For example, in the 1930s and 1940s, famous destinations had car stickers made to recreate their official signs.
