Stunning Scar Cover-Up Tattoos That Turn Scars Skin Into Arts

Vietnamese Tattoo Artist Ngoc Makes Stunning Scar Cover-Up Tattoos That Turn Scars Skin Into Arts

The story of the tattoo of a mother with 3 children named Thuy Ninh made many friends and surrounding people surprised. She goes tattoo with the purpose of covering the scar. Because 3 times of Caesarean section was severely stretched after birth, I was extremely inferior to myself, never dared to wear a crop top. Thuy Ninh cooked with the intention of "painting" from 2 years ago. However, because of excessive weight during pregnancy, up to 90kg, she decided to lose weight first, regain her shape to tattoo more beautiful and stable.

In the past, Thuy Ninh encountered many appearance problems. Specifically, she said: “Each time a child is born, the scar is cut longer. In addition, I was under the keloid scars, looking exactly like a rope. Not to mention, because the pregnant belly is too big, the belly skin is loose after birth, the stretch marks are tight. When I dropped from 90kg to 55kg, my abdomen had a lot of excess skin. I had to proceed to cut away the excess skin, the cut was 50-60cm long. They cut it right above the cesarean section. ”

Thuy Ninh is not only sad because of the long surgical scar but also because of stretch marks. Therefore, she had the intention to go tattoo to cover both scar and crack. She said: “I get big tattoos, which takes a lot of time, about 15 hours in a row. At around 9am I became numb, 11am started tattooing and it was almost 2am the next morning to finish. I lay in the chair for half a day, my body was tired, sometimes I was in pain and I still tried to keep the tattooist 's job going well. ”

According to Thuy Ninh, the tattoo was painful as expected so she determined to seamlessly finish tattooing, not divided into many times. “The tattoo was not as painful as I imagined, but it was not pleasant. Especially the skin of my abdomen is very weak, very thin, scars medium-thick, and long should not eat ink. The true pain comes after the tattoo is completed.

It took me a whole week not to walk straight, just lying in a correct posture because the tattoo is too wide, just stirring to stick to my shirt, very burning. The tattoo is still swollen and swollen making everyday movement difficult. The first 3 days after the tattoo, I had to take pain-relieving 5 times/day. It took 1 week for the pain to subside, after 2 weeks I did not feel uncomfortable anymore. For a beautiful tattoo, I abstain from foods that cause swelling and itchy skin like chicken, sticky rice, seafood, water spinach, eggs of all kinds ... ”

Ha Thanh - Ngoc Like (Bich Ngoc) is a tattoo artist who completed a tattoo for a mother of 3 children Thuy Ninh. She said tattoos have a lot of invisible pressure because tattoos must be perfect, can not be corrected over and over. “In particular, Thuy Ninh's case took a lot of time because this case was a bit difficult. Her skin has too many stretches, wide cracks, loss of elasticity, clear and firm scars, making ink difficult. I have to do it very slowly, very meticulously, little by little, without hasty carelessness. Tattoos cover scars must be really patient, ”Ngoc Like shared.

Ngoc Like is known as a "witch" in the tattoo village because pursuing a fairly difficult branch in the tattoo is a scar mask. She is very passionate about this despite frequent stress.

Female tattoo artist 9X said: “Tattoos cover scars much different than normal skin. Because it depends on the concave terrain or the color of the scar, besides that, make sure the scar is completely healed from 6 months to 1 year or several years to tattoo. Because the scar is very sensitive. ” Ngoc has done many tattoos to cover scars but until 2014 she was officially famous in this field when she successfully "removed scars" of nearly 60cm for a surgeon to create a broken abdomen after giving birth.

For nearly 10 years, Ngoc thinks that tattooing is an art that needs creativity and patience. “It's not like fashion design work - she majored in valedictorian. “Because tattoos are more stressful, more responsibility is needed. Design clothes can be arbitrary, maybe mistakenly corrected but tattooed wrong ... like a wrong surgeon. Tattooists also have contracts with customers, so they can't do anything they want, ”she added.
