Maci Currin - Longest Leg | Longest Female Legs World Record | World's longest legs record broken by Texan teen | Tallest Teen in the History 

Maci Currin, a 17-year-old resident of Texas, USA, recently broke two world records. First, the world’s longest legs (female) and second the longest legs on a teenager. The teenager’s extremely long legs, both measuring over four feet, have garnered her a place in the Guinness World Records 2021 book.

She first realised that she had longer- than- average legs in 2018 when she couldn’t find a pair of leggings that fitted her and was recommended a custom pair.

Currin’s left leg measures four feet five inches (135.3 cm) and her right leg measures four feet four inches (134.3 cm). Her legs account for 60 per cent of her total height of six feet ten inches (208.28 cm). Cedar Park-based Currin’s family members are all relatively tall but none of them matches her extraordinary height or length of legs. Consequently, Currin decided to apply for the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest legs (female).

Previously, Russia’s Ekaterina Lisina held the Guinness World Record for the longest legs (female). Both of Lisina’s legs measure four feet three inches and she stands at a staggering height of six feet nine inches.

Maci Currin admitted that her height and long legs come with both challenges and benefits. She said, “I was never bullied for my legs… I was bullied because I was taller than everyone.” Currin also recalled how she blocked out her bullies: “Around sophomore year I just stopped caring what people thought of me and once I just stopped caring I wasn’t affected by anything.” Her long legs also make her an exceptional volleyball player and have helped her secure a spot on her high school’s volleyball team.

Encouraging tall women to embrace their height, Currin said, “I hope that tall women can see that height is a gift and that you shouldn’t be ashamed that you’re tall – you should really embrace it.” Furthermore, the teenager, who is already a popular figure on TikTok, shared her plans to study in a UK-based college and break the record for being the world’s tallest professional model in the future.
